We have a Windows Server 2012 AD and a FreeNAS-11.2-U5. We are trying to create SMB share on the FreeNAS Server. I have added the FreeNAS user account onto the Windows AD Server with Admin rights. I can access the shares from the AD Server or workstations BUT cannot change the security permissions. It is showing alert message in Properties--> Security --> Advanced --> Permissions --> add that " Unable to contact active directory to access or verify claim types "
